Royal Dutch Association of Landscapers & Gardeners (VHG) is the Dutch association for green specialists. Our members are landscapers, gardeners, tree specialists, interior plant experts, and green roof and wall specialists. More than 1,100 companies are part of our network. Big or small, with or without staff. For over 100 years, we have supported and represented green specialists in the Netherlands.

Working together for a green and healthy environment

The world is changing fast. One of the big challenges today is creating green, healthy places to live and work. Green helps nature, the climate, our health, and the economy. But good green spaces don’t just happen. They need knowledge, skill, and smart solutions.

That’s what our members do every day. They design, build and care for green spaces, close to home and in public places. Royal VHG is the place for specialists who care about green and want to make a difference.

What we do

We help green specialists do their job well. We give advice, share knowledge, and speak up for their interests. We also show how important green is for our society. For more than 100 years, we have worked with and for green specialists. Our goal is to make the value of green clear, and to help solve big challenges like climate change and healthy living.
